Library Media Center

Hello Everyone! We are come to the end of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I hope many of you have enjoyed reading along with me as much as I have enjoyed recording it for you. I also hope that maybe some of you will now go on to read more of The Chronicles of Narnia. If you need recommendations for books that are similar to Narnia, or any other book ideas, reach out to me!

This page is one of two places where you can find the information you will need for everything we will be doing in library this year. The other place will be Google Classroom. Here are the classroom links for each grade:

Our main goal as it is every year will be to find books that we love to read, books that help us transform from readers to book lovers. Even though we won't be in school to begin the year, I am working on some ways to get books in everyone's hands. While I am working on that, you should all make sure you and your family have a library card with the Burlington County Library System. Click on that link, and you will be taken to the library main page. In the upper right corner click on "Apply for a card", and you can register. Best of all, it's free! You will have access to digital recources and ebooks AND you can even request physical books and do curbside pickup! I highly recommend taking advantage of this tremendous community service.

There are a couple of things students should be doing during our remote learning time. First of all, read at least 30 minutes every day. The more we read, the better! Read by themselves, read to others, read with others.

Even though we will be home for a while, you can still travel on GOOGLE EARTH!  Explore the entire planet, get lost in another part of the world, all from the comfort of your home. I LOVE Google Earth!!!!
