Hello! There are a couple of things students should be doing during our remote learning time. First of all, read at least 30 minutes every day. The more we read, the better! Read by themselves, read to others, read with others.
All students should use the Keyboarding Without Tears program for 35 minutes a week as their weekly libary assignement. Here is how to get there:
Direct your computer to the link
Enter your educator pin. When your teacher's name appears, click on the name.
Find your name on the class roster.
Enter your secret code, and you are ready to go!
Build your own spacecraft, play space volcanoes or browse through a gallery of sun images. When you’re at the Space Place, the universe is the limit.
One of the best zoos anywhere, the San Diego Zoo has a LOT of live webcams to check out their residents. Check it out!
Providing educators, parents, and students with science articles that are geared toward kids is what Frontiers for Young Minds is all about.  Intriguing articles and age-appropriate content make it an excellent and engaging resource.
Can't get to the Exploratorium, a hands-on museum in San Francisco, CA? Their website offers hundreds of videos, apps, and activities on everything from what happens to meat when you cook it to why your voice sounds so good in the shower.
Even though we will be home for a while, you can still travel on GOOGLE EARTH!  Explore the entire planet, get lost in another part of the world, all from the comfort of your home. I LOVE Google Earth!!!!
