Library Media Center

Hello everyone, and welcome to our Library Media Center Webpage!

I am Mr. Hammel, and I am your friendly neighborhood school librarian.

You can follow me on Instagram at mrhlovesbooks

I have visited Hogwarts, Narnia, The Shire, Wonderland, The Hundred Acre Wood, Camp Half-Blood, The Chocolate Factory, Neverland, The Emerald City and many other places, all without leaving my house: because when you read, you can go anywhere and everywhere.

During the month of October, we will have our book fair and then we will have creepy read alouds during our library time for the rest of the month. Reading aloud to our students is one of my favorite things to do!

Our main goal, as it is every year, will be to find books that we love to read, books that help us transform from readers to book lovers. You should all make sure you and your family have a library card with the Burlington County Library System. Click on that link, and you will be taken to the library main page. In the upper right corner click on "Apply for a card", and you can register. Best of all, it's free! You will have access to digital resources and ebooks as well as regular books. I highly recommend taking advantage of this tremendous community service.

If your student is struggling to find books that interest and challenge them, please feel free to reach out to me for suggestions and recommendations!
