My name is Alexandra Wright, and I am your child's art teacher here at MIS. I am so excited for a great year in art! Please make sure to check out our art website periodically to see what we are up to in class, and find important updates. 

     I have high expectations for my students, but I realize that we all learn, create, and express ideas in different ways. I hope to teach your child to appreciate art and the act of creating something they can be proud of. The first quarter will focus mostly on basic skills and will work off of what students have learned last year. In order for art class to run smoothly, I ask that students respect each other, the teacher and the materials, and to follow all instructions.

     My hope is to team with you in making your child’s experience in my classroom a success. I ask that you please encourage your son//daughter to work towards his or her best and abide by the rules. I look forward to a fantastic and creative year in art!
