March Madness

Reading: The children are working hard to continue to build their fluency and comprehension within a variety of text. We are currently digging deeper into learning about characters. 

Writing: During March we'll begin working on our biography writing unit. The students will use their reading time to collect information from their chosen biography and use this information to form a biography piece and create a few other fun projects. Keep an eye out for more information.  

Science: Moving into our science unit, Motion and Matter. Our investigations will include working with magnets, wheel and axle systems and many more fun items involving forces. 

Math: Students will be learning all about fractions; equivalent fractions, adding fractions, and greater/less than fractions.
