Soaring through September

Welcome back to school! This month we have many fun and exciting activities planned for you! We will dive into the realistic fiction book, Tiger Rising. Students will develop a realistic story with a surprising twist in writing class. In math, we will begin exploring place value, estimation, addition, and subtraction. I wish all students the best of luck as they get settled in fourth grade!

All homework assignments will be copied daily into each student agenda. I will ensure that students copy homework correctly. Myself or a teacher assistant will check homework agendas daily and initial them. Parents and students should refer to the student agenda daily for homework assignments. The student planner will be the main source for homework communication.

Look out for weekly messages and reminders through Remind.  I will be using Remind as my main source of parent communication. You are welcome to respond back and communicate with me through the app as well.
