Welcome to MacFarland Intermediate School !

The entire faculty and staff of MIS are committed to serving the needs of each student every single day. We accomplish this by offering a rigorous academic curriculum coupled with a strong character education program centered around respect for self, others and the surrounding environment. 

Our Parent-Teacher Organization is a valued part of our school community offering many programs and events throughout the year. All parents are encouraged to become active members of this group that does so much for our school and students. Please be sure to check the PTO website frequently for information regarding their events. 

Your child's education remains our top priority! In order to accomplish this goal, all students must feel safe and secure at school each day. We ask that you please adhere to our safety standards by using the main entrance when visiting and remembering to sign in and obtain a visitor's badge.
